Leigh Grizzard, Director of Vocal Music, is requesting Board approval of additional choral volunteers and/or chaperones for the 2025-2026 school year as listed in agenda support materials. Background checks are required for all chaperones, who must be at least 21 years of age, and for volunteers who supervise students without the presence of Pekin High staff.

Description:
The State of Illinois is making funds available for another round of School Maintenance Grants. This dollar-for-dollar state matching grant program provides up to $50,000.00 in matching funds for the maintenance or upkeep of buildings or structures used for educational purposes. All applications must be submitted by January 30, 2026.
