VI.A. A public hearing to discuss/consider the requirement of Load Management devices upon newly constructed residential homes within the Town of Benson electric service territory.

VII.A. Consider an ORDINANCE requiring Load Management switches for all New Residential Construction units within the Town of Benson electrical service territory. (Braston Newton, Assistant Town Manager)

VII.C. Update related to the repair and replacement of the roof at the Benson Parks and Recreation Building located on North Johnson Street.

VII.C.1. Commissioner Chandler, Commissioner Medlin, Matt Smith, Braston Newton and Matt Zapp to research the options and bring forward a recommendation on January 26, 2016 to the Board.

VII.C.1.a. Due to weather related delays, the Committee was unable to meet as scheduled.

VII.D. Partnership for Children lease update 

VII.D.1. Mayor Massengill, Commissioner Medlin, Erin King and Matt Zapp met with the team from PFC.  

VII.D.2. Multiple lease agreements are being reviewed/discussed- PFC, WIC and the After School Tutoring Program.

VII.E. A discussion/ request related to repair option(s) of the 48" storm drain line that runs beneath the Benson McDonald’s (Jamie Guerrero, Interim Public Utilities Director)

VII.E.1. RECOMMENDATION #1- Proceed with the advertisement, review and selection of a contractor to repair the pipe at a cost not to exceed $90,000 in the current FY 15/16 Budget.

VII.E.1.a. Utilize fund balance to complete this project; would require a Budget Amendment before contract award.

VII.E.2. RECOMMENDATION #2- Proceed with the advertisement, review and selection of a contractor to repair the pipe at a cost not to exceed $90,000 in the upcoming FY 16/17 Budget.

VII.E.2.a. Budget for this project within the upcoming budget; allocate fund balance as needed.
