Superintendent Scurto announced his intent to retire (effective June 30th, 2026) at the October 7th, 2025 Regular Meeting of the Lane ESD Board of Directors. At this time, the Board of Directors will develop a process and work to select a new superintendent.
The Lane ESD Board of Directors will discuss matters related to the process of selecting a new Superintendent, including:

Description:
On behalf of the Board of Directors, Board Chair Harris requested that information be gathered on several search firms specializing in the superintendent hiring process.

6.A. Move forward with selecting a search firm with a follow-up planning meeting at the November 4th Work Session.
Proposed motion: BE IT RESOLVED: that the Board of Directors of Lane ESD authorize the Board Chair to enter into a contract with (________) firm for superintendent search services, as outlined in the attached proposal, and the Board hold a follow-up planning discussion at the November 4th Work Session.
