Description: The North Wasco County School District Board of Directors will conduct the October 22nd, 2020 meeting by video conference only.

Public Comments: The Board will only accept written public comment for the October 22nd, 2020 meeting. The Board is committed to the public comment process and will consider all public comment seriously.  Public Comments for virtual meetings will continue to follow School Board Policy BDDH - Public Participation in Board Meetings.

Please send written comments to publiccomments@nwasco.k12.or.us or by US Mail to North Wasco County School District 21 ATTN: Public Comments, 3632 West 10th Street, The Dalles, Oregon 97058.

Clearly label the subject line as: "Public comment" and include the topic. Example: "Public Comment: Assessment.  "Approved written public comment will be included in the School Board Agenda under the Public Comment section and may be read aloud as determined by the Board Chair."

Written public comment for the October 22nd, 2020 Meeting will be accepted until Wednesday, October 21st, 2020 by 12:00 (Noon). Public comments submitted after the deadline will be included in the next Regular School Board Meeting agenda.

Description:
The consent agenda consists of routine items such as previous board minutes, routine personnel actions and routine financial transactions. Normally, there is little or no discussion on these items.

8. Board Action Calendar - Review

Description: October:

Supt Report on Division 22 Standards/Assurances (required)
Supt Search: Will be advertised nationally and with local state organizations, 100 consultants engage in recruitment activities
Monitor enrollment and allocation of resources
Review/revise policies as needed
Monitor Facilities Direction
Board members assigned to committees report back to the Board

Examples of opportunities for Board Members (when not in CDL)
- Attend student activities
- Plan a visit to a classroom

November:
