Description:
The Oregon Department of Education (ODE), in partnership with the Oregon Lottery, awarded Cailey Powell as one of 17 Regional Teachers of the Year for 2026-27. Powell teaches agriculture science and forestry at Roseburg High School. The program honors teaching excellence and exemplary educators across Oregon.

Description:
Douglas ESD’s 2025-26 Annual Report, which summarizes district size, services, staffing, and financial information. Senate Bill 250 requires the ESD Board to prepare this report annually, submit it to ODE and component school districts, and make it publicly available.

XIII.C. Resolution 27-04 | Amend the 2024 OSBA Bylaws

Description:
The Oregon School Boards Association (OSBA) is proposing amendments to its bylaws for consideration by member districts during the 2026 election. The proposed changes update governance and voting procedures, create a new Caucus Council structure, revise board and committee membership provisions, establish committee term limits, and clarify organizational processes to improve representation, efficiency, and accountability.
