1. CALL SPECIAL SESSION TO ORDER
Description:
The Special Session of the North Santiam School District’s Board of Directors is called to order at 2:00 pm. While it is an open meeting of the Board and the public is allowed to observe in-person and via Zoom, a large portion of the meeting will occur in Executive Session, and will not be open to the public (see below).

2. APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA
Description:
Any changes to the agenda after posting on April 4, 2022 are noted below:

3. ENTER INTO EXECUTIVE SESSION PER ORS 192.660(2)(a)
Description:
As per ORS 192.660(2)(a), the Board will enter into Executive Session "to consider the employment of a staff member". This portion of the agenda will only be for board members, the NSSD Director of HR, the Screening Advisory Committee and the Board Administrative Assistant. Anyone else in attendance will be asked to exit the meeting.

3.1. Preparations for Interviews
Description:
The Board (only) will meet for a debrief regarding social media/internet searches on candidates and for final preparations regarding interview questions.

3.2. Interviews
Description:
The Screening Advisory Committee will be invited into the room to observe candidate interviews conducted by the Board.
|

3.3. Return to Open Session
Description:
The Board Chair will return the meeting to Open Session. Any members of the public who wish to attend are invited back into the meeting space.

4. CONTRACT PARAMETERS
Description:
This time is set aside for a Board discussion, should it be needed, regarding the parameters of the contract for the new superintendent.
