1. CALL SPECIAL SESSION TO ORDER
Description:
The Special Session of the North Santiam School District’s Board of Directors is called to order at 6:00 pm. It is an open meeting of the Board and the public is allowed to observe via Zoom. The meeting has been called as a result of the NSSD's current superintendent being announced as a finalist for the position of superintendent in another school district. The sole purpose of the meeting is to receive information from the Oregon School Boards Association pertaining to the options available to school districts once they receive a resignation notice from their superintendent.

2. APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA
Description:
Any changes to the agenda after posting on February 1, 2022 are noted below:
Added Attachments- Added Agenda Items- Removed Agenda Items- *as of the date of the meeting posting, the NSSD Board had not received an official notice of resignation from Superintendent Gardner. If this should occur prior to the start of the meeting, it is possible the agenda could be modified to include a motion to obtain services from a superintendent search firm. RECOMMENDED MOTION

3. NEW SCHOOL SUPERINTENDENT SEARCH OPTIONS: STEVE KELLEY
Description:
The Director of Board Development for the Oregon School Boards Association (OSBA), Steve Kelley, will join the meeting to review options typically available to school districts once they receive a resignation notice from their superintendent. He will also provide a brief overview of the superintendent search services that are available from OSBA.
