1. Call to Order

2. IGBAF--Special Education-Individualized Education Program (IEP)-This required update was reviewed by the Policy Committee in June of 2024. The Board secretary discussed the committee's recommendations and discussion with the Director of Student Services and the highlighted amendments were made to the policy.

3. IKJ- Artificial Intelligence-New (Optional)-Artificial intelligence and generative artificial intelligence are the most recent additions to technology tools available to education. The purpose of this new model sample policy is to facilitate actions regarding artificial intelligence. Many OSBA members have developed statements, policies, or positions, or have responsible use agreement language that includes related content; this policy is not intended to replace that language. The Oregon Department of Education (ODE) has Educational Technology resources which include several on artificial intelligence.
