2. IGDJ-Interscholastic Activities (Conditionally Required)
Policy IGDJ is a new conditionally required policy with recommended language to comply with requirements of OAR 581-022-2308(2). If the ESD offers opportunities to participate in interscholastic activities as part of the ESD program, the ESD must adopt policy that provides for conditions of becoming a member of a voluntary organization that administers interscholastic activities or that facilities the scheduling and programming of interscholastic activities as are outlined in the rule.

3. IGBB-Talented and Gifted Programs and Services (Required)
There have been some additional rule changes passed for talented and gifted programs. As a result, OSBA policy staff worked to reduce number of policies and administrative regulations (AR) to two, and both remaining ARs are optional.
