RECOGNITION/COMMMENDATION
A. Michelle Laporte, Supervisor of Hazel Park Adult & Vendor Education and her entire staff would like to thank the Maintenance Department. They are always so friendly and quick to help us out, and we have needed quite a bit of help recently with a broken door handle, a new exhaust fan in the bathroom and a new hot water tank. We greatly appreciate their professionalism and expertise.
B. Tammy Scholz, Principal at Hazel Park Jr. High wants to thank Diane Meitzner, Colin Houston, Anita Dupes and Kasandra Brown for volunteering to chaperone the first Super Student field trip of the school year. Ms Meitzner and Mr. Houston were the certified life guards while Mrs. Dupes and Mrs. Brown supervised the locker room and transportation.
C. Tammy Scholz, Hazel Park Jr. High School Principal, wishes to thank the incredible BTN (Building Turnaround Network) at the junior high that meet every other week to help make the junior high the best it can be. Our meetings have sometimes lasted nearly 2 hours and the members stay and work tirelessly to support our students academically, socially and emotionally by analyzing data and devising plans to meet the needs of all our students. The team consists of staff members: Barb Logan, Mary Jo Germain, Nicole Henisse, Anita Dupes, George Dimas, Carla Kinyon, Susan McQueary, Linda Surovec, Jackie Krentz, Denise Robinson and Carla Beach.
