Description:
By State and Federal guidelines, we must have a hearing official selected by the school board to make a ruling if there is a person who is dissatisfied with the ruling made by the food service manager regarding their free and reduced application. In the past, the Superintendent has been the designated person.

8.3. Hot Lunch - Offer vs. Serve
Description:
Offer Versus Serve (OVS) is a concept that applies to menu planning and meal service. OVS allows students to decline some of the food offered in a reimbursable lunch or breakfast. The goals of the program are to reduce food waste and allow students to choose the foods they want to eat.
