8.A. Implementation of the Safe Learning Plan
Presenter:
Pat Devine, Superintendent
Description:
Implementation of the Safe Learning Plan As we implement the Safe Learning Plan we know the spirit of the plan is to allow for choice when possible and to insert safety mitigation so we can provide a safe learning environment. In the plan we have the following section that we would like to clarify: Contact Tracing and Quarantining
In the past, if we reached a threshold of students who were sick due to a virus in one classroom, we would ask that students stay home to stop the spread of the virus. When we identify a highly infectious classroom (3 or more COVID-19 cases over 14 days) we are requesting the administrative authority for our ONE10 Covid-19 Administrative Team to consider any of the following approaches as mitigation strategies to slow down the spread of the virus:
Other mitigating measures to be implemented where possible:
Thank you for this consideration. Pat Devine and the ONE10 COVID-19 Administrative Team |
