Description:
The district staff has gathered the information for the monthly financial reporting process. The monthly reports from July through April 2020 will be reviewed with the school board.

1.B. Food Service Meal Price Changes for the 2020-2021 School Year

Description:
The Paid Lunch Equity (PLE) provision of the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010 requires school food authorities to ensure each year that sufficient funds are provided to the foodservice account for full-paid student lunches. The Federal Government has held off on releasing the tool to make the calculation to ensure of the weighted average lunch price charged for paid lunches so far due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As a reminder, we raised meal prices by $.05 per meal last year at this time. At this time we are recommending to leave all meal prices the same for the e2020-2021 school year. As no action needs to be taken when leaving meal prices the same this item is for discussion purposes only.
