G.2.a. RECOMMENDED MOTION: That the Board of Education approve changes to Policy 7:70 and waive first and second reading.

G.3. Employment of Interim Superintendent - (Roll Call)

G.3.a. RECOMMENDED MOTION: That the Board of Education approve the employment of John R. Langton as interim superintendent for the period of July 19, 2023 through June 30, 2024, subject to execution of a written employment agreement and John R. Langton's successful completion of all required criminal background and employment history reviews, and to approve interim superintendent employment agreement between the Board and John R. Langton.

G.4.a. RECOMMENDED MOTION: That the Board of Education approve the employment of Attila J. Weninger, Ph.D. as interim superintendent for the period of July 19, 2023 through June 30, 2024, subject to execution of a written employment agreement and Attila J. Weninger's successful completion of all required criminal background and employment history reviews, and to approve interim superintendent employment agreement between the Board and Attila J. Weninger.

G.5. Suncast/Discovery Drive Intergovernmental Agreement (Revised for Occupancy) - (Roll Call)

G.5.a. RECOMMENDED MOTION: That the Board of Education approve the Intergovernmental Agreement providing a property tax abatement for the development of the Discovery Drive Investors Property, as presented.

G.6. Family Engagement Speaker Contract - (Roll Call)

G.6.a. RECOMMENDED MOTION: That the Board of Education approve the speaker contract from Key Speakers Bureau, Newport Beach, CA for Richard Montanez to speak at a September 12, 2023 family engagement event at West Chicago High School in the amount of $28,000, including travel.
