E.6. Review of Closed Session Minutes - (Roll Call)

E.6.a. RECOMMENDED MOTION: That the Board of Education approve the attached report on the review of closed session minutes as presented by Mr. Nagel and Mr. Saake.

E.7.  Destruction of Closed Meeting Audio Recordings - (Roll Call)
The Legislature requires that closed session meetings of Boards of Education be audio recorded and those recordings retained for a period of 18 months. Beginning in July, 2005, Boards can destroy those recordings provided that they are at least 18 months old and that the minutes of the specific closed session meetings have been approved and are retained as part of the official records of the Board's business. It is suggested that the Board purge these audio recordings twice a year in conjunction with the semi-annual review of closed session minutes.

E.7.a. RECOMMENDED MOTION: That the Board of Education approve the destruction of audio recordings of closed session Board of Education meetings made prior to October 1, 2020, which meets the state criteria of being at least 18 months old, and for which approved minutes are retained as the official records of the Board's business.

G.1. Student Travel - Wego Drama Goes to New York - (Roll Call)

G.1.a. RECOMMENDED MOTION: That the Board of Education approve student travel for Wego Drama to New York from March 28 to April 1, 2024.

G.2. Student Travel - WeGo Global - (Roll Call)

G.2.a. RECOMMENDED MOTION: That the Board of Education approve student travel for WeGo Global to San Jose, Costa Rica from July 8 to 16, 2024

G.3. Paper Procurement Bid - (Roll Call)

G.3.a. RECOMMENDED MOTION: That the Board of Education approve the bid proposal from Murnane Paper Company, Elmhurst, IL for the procurement of paper during the 2023-2024 school year in the amount of $59,533.20. 

G.4. Snow Removal Services Bid - (Roll Call)

G.4.a. RECOMMENDED MOTION: That the Board of Education approve the bid proposal from Ground Effects Maintenance, Addison, IL for Snow Removal Services for the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 school years in the total amount of $99,140.00.

G.5.a. RECOMMENDED MOTION: That the Board of Education approve the proposal from Associated Electrical Contractors, LLC, Woodstock, IL to install and wire bollard lights on the West side of the building in the amount of $31,820.00.

G.6.a. RECOMMENDED MOTION: That the Board of Education approve the quote from Wenger Corporation, Owatonna, MN for the purchase and installation of a music library storage system in the amount of $24,999.00.

G.7.a. RECOMMENDED MOTION: That the Board of Education approve the quote from CDW-G, Vernon Hills, IL for the purchase of additional security cameras throughout the building in the amount of $12,117.86.

G.8.a. RECOMMENDED MOTION: That the Board of Education approve the quote from MGT Film, Wauconda, IL for the purchase and installation of bullet resistant film on various doors and windows around the 1st floor of the building in the amount of $14,791.00.
