1. Call to Order with the Pledge of Allegiance.
 
2. Roll Call.
 
3. Adopt Official Agenda giving the President discretion to take items out of order or in executive session as needed.
 
4. Approve the minutes of the Regular Meeting held on April 6, 2020.
 
5. Consider approval of bills as presented in the amount of $616,342.80 be authorized; that salaries for the month of May 2020 be authorized; that quick pay for April 2020 in the amount of $1,001,557.94 be approved; and that June 2020 salaries and bills to be quick paid be authorized.
 
6. Requests signed by interested citizens who attend the Board of Education meeting who request to speak to the Board. 
 
7. Consent Agenda.  (Item 7-A - Curriculum Committee Recommendation & Items 7-B through I - Personnel Committee Recommendations)
 
7.A. Adopt TCI ( The Teachers' Curriculum Institute) program to support the 6-8 Middle School Science Curriculum for the 2020-2021 school year.
 
7.B. Accept the written resignation of Amy Blakely, teacher, effective at the close of the 2023-2024 school year.  Mrs. Blakely is requesting to retire under Article 50 - Early Retirement Incentive for Certified Staff Members Eligible for TRS, of the Cahokia Federation of Teachers contract.  Mrs. Blakely would also like to reserve the right to apply for any additional state retirement incentives that may become available before her retirement date.
 
7.C. Accept the written resignation of Michelle Cooley, principal, effective at the close of the 2019-2020 school year.
 
7.D. Accept the written resignation of Kayla Cullum, teacher, effective at the close of the 2019-2020 school year.
 
7.E. Accept the written resignation of Wendy Lange, effective at the close of the 2024-2025 school year.  Mrs. Lange is requesting to retire under Article 50 - Early Retirement Incentive for Certified Staff Members Eligible for TRS, of the Cahokia Federation of Teachers contract.  Mrs. Lange would also like to reserve the right to apply for any additional state retirement incentives that may become available before her retirement date.
 
7.F. Approve the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) leave for Michelle Belt, bus aide, effective Friday, March 13, 2020, through Wednesday, June 10, 2020.  Ms. Belt will be using her sick, personal and vacation time, and will be docked for the remainder of this leave.  Termination may be adjusted depending on her doctor's instructions.
 
7.G. Cancel payroll stipend of Antrice Stevenson, Site Coordinator.
 
7.H. Terminate the employment of a probationary employee.
 
7.I. Terminate the employment of a probationary employee.
 
7.J. Accept the written resignation of Christine Grandcolas, teacher, effective at the close of the 2024-2025 school year.  Mrs. Grandcolas is requesting to retire under Article 50 - Early Retirement Incentive for Certified Staff Members Eligible for TRS, of the Cahokia Federation of Teachers contract.  Mrs. Grandcolas would also like to reserve the right to apply for any additional state retirement incentives that may become available before her retirement date.
 
7.K. Accept the written resignation of Nicole White, psychologist, effective at the close of the 2019-2020 school year.
 
7.L. Accept the written resignation of Anthony Priest Sr., Director of Security, effective at the close of the 2024-2025 school year.  Mr. Priest is requesting to retire under Article 27 - Early Retirement Incentive of the Service Workers Council of the Cahokia Federation of Teachers, Local 1272 contract.  Mr. Priest would like to reserve the right to apply for any additional state retirement incentives that may become available before his retirement date.
 
7.M. Terminate the employment of Eldin Salmond as a basketball coach, effective April 30, 2020.
 
7.N. Approve change order for Estelle Sauget parking lot repairs in the amount of $52,800.00.
 
7.O. Approve the renewal membership for Cahokia High School with the IHSA for the 2020-2021 school year.
 
7.P. Adopt Resolution #20-16 approving Amendment to School Bus Transportation Services Ageement with First Student, Inc.
 
7.Q. Authorize administration to award bid to the lowest responsible bidder for the HVAC system at Academic Character Development Center to Crescent Parts & Equipment in the amount of $74,538.86.
 
7.R. Amend the district calendar for the 2019-2020 school year.  Tentative last day for students and teaqchers is Wednesday, May 27, 2020; however Cahokia High School and Wirth Middle School/Oliver Parks will attend May 28, 2020.
