4. Approve the minutes of the Regular Meeting held on January 13, 2020.
 
5. Consider approval of bills as presented in the amount of $1,350,130.23 be authorized; that salaries for the month of February 2020 be authorized; that quick pay for January 2020 in the amount of $276,571.28 be approved; and that March 2020 salaries and bills to be quick paid be authorized.

8.A. Accept the written resignation of Angie Kennedy as the Perkins and CTE Grants Coordinator, effective at the close of the grant fiscal year of June 30, 2020.
 
8.B. Employ William Piening as a special education teacher for the 2019-2020 school year, effective Monday, January 6, 2020, pending successful completion of pre-employment requirements.
 
8.C. Accept the written resignation of Kelly Sexton, teacher, effective Monday, January 13, 2020.
 
8.D. Approve pay adjustment for Stephanie Swanson for additional duties with 21st Century.
  
8.E. Cancel the payroll facilitation of the AmeriCorp stipend for Kourtney Teat, effective Thursday, December 12, 2019.
  
8.F. Approve administrative appointments for the 2020-2021 school year.

8.J. Accept the written resignation of Ruth Brown, social worker, effective at the close of the 2019-2020 school year.
 
8.K. Employ Heather Miller as a teacher  for the 2019-2020 school year, effective Thursday, January 23, 2020, pending successful completion of pre-employment requirements.
 
8.L. Approve Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) for Alison Schumacher, principal, effective Wednesday, January 15, 2020, through Wednesday, April 15, 2020.  Mrs. Schumacher will be using workers compensation in conjunction with her FMLA leave.  Commencement or termination of this leave may be adjusted.
 
8.M. Approve intermittent Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) for Michelle Schwab, teacher, effective Friday, November 22, 2019, through the end of the 2019-2020 school year.  Mrs. Schwab will be using her sick and personal leave in conjunction with her FMLA leave.  Commencement or termination of this leave may be adjusted.
 
8.N. Cancel the payroll facilitation of the AmeriCorp stipend for Charlene Strong, effective Friday, January 24, 2020.
 
8.O. Approve Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) leave for Melanie Armstrong, paraprofessional, effective Wednesday, October 16, 2019, through Tuesday, February 4, 2020.  Ms. Armstrong will be using her sick, personal and vacation time, and will be docked for the remainder of this leave.  Termination of this leave may be adjusted depending on her doctor's instructions.
 
8.P. Accept the written resignation of Curtis Graham, paraprofessional, effective Monday, February 10, 2020.
 
8.Q. Approve Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) for Todd Hill, Asst. Athletic Director, effective Monday, February 3, 2020, through Friday, May 1, 2020.  Mr. Hill will be using his sick, personal and vacation time, and will be docked for the remainder of this leave.  Termination of this leave may be adjusted depending on his doctor's instructions.
 
8.R. Accept the verbal resignation of Shanita Lockett, bus driver, effective Thursday, January 23, 2020.
 
8.S. Appoint of George-Shawn Taylor III as Assistant Director of Security, effective Monday, February 3, 2020.
 
8.T. Authorize administration to award bid to the lowest or best bidder for ballasted roof replacement at Wirth Middle School to Kehrer Brothers West Roofing in the amount of $384,150.00.
 
8.U. Authorize administration to award bid to the lowest responsible bidder for Summer 2020 H/LS Improvements at Wirth Middle School to Morrissey Construction in the amount of $1,268,000.
 
8.V. Authorize administration to award bid to the lowest responsible bidder for Summer 2020 H/LS Improvements at Lalumier School to R & W Builders in the amount of $384,147.
 
8.W. Authorize administration to award bid to the lowest responsible bidder for Summer H/LS Improvements at Penniman, E. Morris, and Maplewood Schools to Morrissey Construction in the amount of $393,000.
 
8.X. Authorize administration to award bid to the lowest responsible bidder for Summer H/LS Improvements at Huffman to Morrissey Construction in the amount of $398,000.
 
8.Y. Approve application for School Maintenance Grant.
 
8.Z. Adopt Resolution #20-07 releasing portions of closed session minutes for public inspection for the following dates:  July 8, 2019; August 12, 2019; August 28, 2019; September 9, 2019; September 25, 2019; October 7, 2019; October 23, 2019; December 9, 2019; and December 18, 2019.
 
8.AA. Adopt Resolution #20-08 abating taxes pursuant to the Property Tax Relief Grant.

9.A. Consider the request for an unpaid leave of absence for Janice Downard, effective Thursday, January 30, 2020, through Friday, January 29, 2021.

10.A. Consider accepting the hearing officer's recommendation from the discipline hearing on Tuesday, January 28, 2020, to expel a ninth grade Cahokia High School student for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year and the first semester of the 2020-2021 school year with services.
 
10.B. Consider accepting the hearing officer's recommendation from the discipline hearing held on Tuesday, January 28, 2020, to expel a tenth grade Cahokia High School Student for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year and the first semester of the 2020-2021 school year; however, the expulsion will be stayed if the student enrolls and successfully completes the ROE Safe School Program.
 
10.C. Consider accepting the hearing officer's recommendation from the discipline hearing on Monday, February 10, 2020, to expel a seventh grade student for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year.
