The Board Personnel Committee has reviewed the settlement terms and recommends approval. I.C. Approval of Resolution to Update the Population Base for Community Services Funding
The Administration recommends approval of the Resolution to Update the Population Base for Community Services Funding. A copy of the resolution is attached.

I.D. Bid Award - Apollo Athletic Field & Track Improvement
The Administration recommends that the Board of Education award the bid for Apollo Athletic Field & Track Improvements as follows based on low bids received meeting specifications: -Contract 1 - Earthwork/Utilities: Kraemer Trucking & Excavating, Inc. in the amount of $35,319 -Contract 2 - Asphalt Reclaiming/Paving/Aggregate Base: Knife River Corporation in the amount of $122,410 -Contract 3 - Concrete: Upper Midwest Athletic Construction in the amount of $116,870 -Contract 4 - Track: Upper Midwest Athletic Construction in the amount of $191,870. The low bid from Athletic Field Surfacing was rejected due to an incorrect bid form that materially varies from the bidding requirements. -Contract 5 - Fencing: Peterson Companies, Inc. in the amount of $16,530 -Contract 6 - Landscaping: No bids were received. Quotes will be obtained and an award requested at a later meeting. A bid tabulation is attached. This project is being funded with Deferred Maintenance funds.

The Administration recommends that the Board of Education award the bid for Madison Elementary School 2015 Additions & Remodeling to KUE Contractors, Inc., in the amount of $980,815 based upon low bid received meeting specifications. A bid tabulation is attached. This project is being funded with Fund Balance funds.

I.F. Hiring of Owner's Representative
The Administration recommends hiring Mike Spanier as a Consultant to be the Owner's Representative for the building of the new High School, renovations at Apollo High School and other improvements. The Contract will run from July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2017 at $80,000 per year. |
I.G. Change Order #1 - Roosevelt Education Center Building
The Administration recommends approval of Change Order #1 for the above named project with Garland/DBS, Inc. in the amount of +$232,398 for change in scope of work - additional roof sections and areas added to the original contract. This project is funded with Deferred Maintenance funds. |
I.H. Change Order #1 - Kennedy Community School Addition/Remodel - Wells Concrete Products
The Administration recommends approval of Change Order #1 for the above named project with Wells Concrete Products in the amount of -$650.00 due to a different contractor removing joint grout framing materials. This project is funded with capital lease levy funds. |
I.I. Change Order #4 - North Junior High School Addition/Remodel - Yamry Construction, Inc.
The Administration recommends approval of Change Order #4 for the above named project with Yamry Construction, Inc. in the amount of +$30,285.00 for additional lockers. This project is funded with Deferred Maintenance funds. |

The Administration recommends approval of a Purchase Agreement with the City of St. Joseph for the sale of Colts Academy for $2,300,000 with a closing date of approximately September 1, 2015. A copy of the Purchase Agreement is attached.
