8. CLOSED SESSION: The superintendent requests that the Board of Trustees convene in closed meeting as authorized by the provisions of the Open Meeting Act, Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code. This executive session is in accordance with the Texas Government Code Section: |
8.a. 551.074 for the purpose of discussing personnel, considering appointment, employment, resignation, retirement, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee.

Discussion of Superintendent's recommendations for: proposed nonrenewal of term contracts; renewal of term contracts; initial offers of term contracts; renewal of probationary contacts; initial offers of probationary contracts; and termination of probationary contracts; of: initial offers of probationary contracts; and termination of probationary contracts, of: librarians, counselors, nurses, educational diagnosticians, classroom teachers, and other certified educators (other than certified administrators), who are entitled to Chapter 21 contracts.
