7.p. Approval of SY 22-23 Staff Development Waiver to the Texas Education Agency to provide for a maximum of 2,100 total waiver minutes to use for professional development for districts and charter schools that provide operational and instructional minutes.

7.q. Approval for Migrant students to attend the TAMUK Campus Tour in Kingsville, Texas on December 16, 2022.

7.r. Discussion and possible action to approve the purchase of 38 Meriaki Wireless Access Points for Ybarra Fine Arts Academy from Insight through DIR contract #DIR-TSO-4167.

7.s. Discussion and possible action to request authorization to order equipment for Sensory Rooms from approved vendors.

7.t. Possible action to appoint members to the 2022-2023 School Health Advisory Council (SHAC).

8. DISCUSSION AND ACTION ITEMS:

8.a. Discussion and possible action for approval of the annual financial report for fiscal year 2021-2022.

9. CLOSED SESSION:  The superintendent requests that the Board of Trustees convene in closed meeting as authorized by the provisions of the Open Meeting Act, Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code.  This executive session is in accordance with the Texas Government Code Section:

9.a. 551.074 for the purpose of discussing personnel, considering appointment, employment, resignation, retirement, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee.

9.b. Consultation with legal counsel regarding a.)  pending or contemplated litigation b.)  settlement offer; or c.)  matter in which the duty of the attorney to Edcouch-Elsa Independent School District under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code (TX.Gov't. Code 551.071)
