Description:
The total as of right now for 2024-2025 is $155,368.71, and this is down approximately $37,700 from last year.

6.D. Consider Action of Adoption of the 2024-25 Teacher Salary Schedule

6.E. Consider Action on adoption of the 2024-25 Auxiliary and Hourly Employee Pay Schedule
Description:
Our present schedules are on a 2% Step. We recommend approving the same schedules as last year and approve a one step increase for all employees in these classes: para-professionals, clerical, administrative, custodial, maintenance, transportation, and food service. Approximate cost increase will be around $76,000

6.F. Consider Action on Adoption of the 2024-25 Administration Pay Schedule
Description:
It has been customary that administration exempt class employees (Assistant Superintendent, Executive Officers, Directors, Managers, Principals, Assistant Principals and any job not tied to the teacher payscale) received a raise each year. We recommend that they all receive the same raise as our auxiliary and hourly staff which is 2% per step.
Approximate cost for salary increases are around $40,000. |
6.G. Consider Action on Adoption of 2024-25 Supplemental and Stipend Salary Schedule
Description:
Need to approve the stipend schedule. This is the same rates as last year with a few new categories added: (some of these were added during the year)

6.H. Consider Action on Adoption of the Health Insurance Plan Contribution Rate for 2024-25
Description:
It has been the practice of VISD to make available a free to employee insurance plan and pay the total premiums for an employee only policy. The rate has increased by $31 dollars which makes a total of $421/employee/month.
The approximate maximum cost increase will be around $93,000 dollars for 250 employees. |
