9.3. Motion to authorize the Superintendent to move forward sharing and testing, districtwide, a funding proposal of approximately $35.85 million to address capital facility needs. Facility improvement needs to be considered include: relocating the main entrance, main parking, pick-up/drop-off and a bus loop to Valley View Road; additional instructional space to serve Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, 3rd grade and 4th grade; renovations and reconfiguration of existing space to address special education and student support services; a secure entry vestibule and relocation of the instructional office to be near the new main entry; repairs and improvements to the existing elementary gym.
