This contest was open to all schools in the Leech Lake area. •Congratulations to the Quiz Bowl Team for winning the sportsmanship award and first place at the Itasca Community College tournament at March 13. • Congratulations to the HCN Storm Robotics team for a successful season. They received the Rookie Inspire award that is an optional award at the First Robotics competition at the DECC in Duluth. The judges awarded this after talking to our students and heard their understanding of the robot and everything that goes into preparing for the competition. The judges could tell that our students were really engaged in the robotics program, and they also really liked how the two districts are working together. The competition was an awesome experience for students and coaches and they are already looking forward to next year with more students joining the team. |
