Description:
One visit in July for completing a fall hazard assessment and protection equipment. One visit in December for updating the automotive lift and hoist lift safety programs, completing a machine guarding hazard assessment and updating the BBP program.

Description:
Lori Sizenbach has used ipads and other devices which can no longer be updated. She would like to have a sale at the school, as was done last year, and then sell the remaining devices to a company that buys used devices.

10.11. Approve meal prices for 2019-20 as follows:
Breakfast: $.90 for elementary and $1.00 for high school Lunch: $2.75 for elementary and $2.85 for high school Adult meal prices: $1.80 for breakfast and $3.75 for lunch
Description:
An increase in lunch prices for students is necessary to follow USDA requirements found at 7 CFE 210.14(e). Adult meal prices must be increased to meet the minimum prices established by USDA and MDE.

10.12. Approve LTD (Long Term Disability) Insurance policy with Madison Life for 2019-2022 with MN/SA limitation
Description:
National Insurance conducted the bidding process this spring for Northland. After reviewing the bids, their recommendation is to stay with Madison Life. The district insurance committee agrees and recommends that the district accept the bid for a three year plan with a 2 year limitation on MN/SA (Mental Disorder & Substance Abuse) benefits.
The current rate for LTD is .48% of payroll, and the new rate would be .39%, a saving of approximately $7100 per year. |

10.13. Approve resolution to designate Pat Rendle as Identified Official with authority
Description:
Designation of Identified Official with Authority for the MDE External User Access Recertification System
The Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) requires that school districts annually designate an Identified Official with Authority to comply with the MNIT Enterprise Identity and Access Management Standard which states that all user access rights to Minnesota state systems must be reviewed and recertified at least annually. The Identified Official with Authority will assign job duties and authorize external user's access to MDE secure systems for their local education agency (LEA). The Board recommends to authorize Patrick Rendle to act as the IDentified Official with Authority (IOwA) for Northland Community Schools 0118-01. |
