10.1. Approve resolution canvassing returns of votes
Be it resolved BY THE School Board of Independent School District No. 118, as follows: 1. It is hereby found, determined and declared that the regular election of the voters of the district held on November 6, 2018 was in all respects duly and legally called and held. 2. As specified in the attached Abstract and Return of Votes Cast at said election a total of 3006 voters of the school district voted on the elections of 3 (three) school board members. For terms: 3 (three) for four years each for vacancy on the board caused by expiration of term on January 7, 2019 following the general election as follows: Bill Wake - 1489 James Dahl - 1188 Write in tally: 347 3. Candidates Bill Wake, James Dahl and Alissa Tschida received the highest number of votes for the four-year terms and are elected beginning January 7, 2019. 4. The school district clerk is hereby authorized to certify the results of the election to the county auditor of Cass County in which the school district is located in whole. |
