Description:
Approval of the Student Disciplinary Committee's recommendation to permanently expel the student identified in Student Case #157 from Howell Public Schools for insubordination, inappropriate/disrespectful behavior and persistent disobedience and consider a petition for reinstatement as early as July 1, 2019, for possible return for the 2019/2020 school year.

Description:
Approval of the Student Disciplinary Committee's recommendation to permanently expel the student identified in Student Case #158 from Howell Public Schools for violating Board Policy #5530 regarding possession and distribution of drugs in a drug free zone.

12. CLOSED SESSION

A closed session has been requested to discuss the pending case of North American Brokers and Mark Ratliff v. Howell Public Schools, Livingston County Court Case No. 15-28669-CH, because an open meeting would impair the District's position in litigating or settling the matter, pursuant to Section 8(e) of the Open Meetings Act.
