8.H. Recommendation for Student Expulsion (Case #144)
Description:  Approval of the Student Discipline Committee's recommendation to expel for the remainder of the 2017-2018 school year the student identified in Student Case #144 from Howell Public Schools for violating the District's Code of Conduct regarding persistent disobedience and consider a petition for reinstatement as early as June 14, 2018, for a possible return in the 2018-2019 school year to the innovative learning initiative program and/or the general education program.

Description:  The superintendent recommends approval of award of bids for turf replacement at the Howell High School Memorial Stadium to Sprinturf at the low bid price of $575,182, using funds from proceeds of the sale of the Latson Road School property as shown in Exhibit I.

9.B.3) Approval of Award of Bids for Playground Improvements at Voyager and Northwest Elementary Schools - EXHIBIT J
Description:  The superintendent recommends approval of award of bids for playground improvements at Northwest Elementary to JC Walker and Sons for base bid and Alternatives 1-3 at the low bid price of $20,733, and award of bids for playground improvements at Voyager Elementary to Playworld for base bid and Alternative 1 at the low bid price of $40,538, using funds from the proceeds of the sale of the Latson Road School property as shown in Exhibit J.
