Description:  The superintendent recommends approval of the 2017/18 MASB membership renewal in the amount of $8,448 as shown in Exhibit B.

Description:  The superintendent recommends approval of the 2017 tax rate request for 18 mills non-homestead and 6.40 mills for the debt levy as shown in Exhibit C.

Description:  The superintendent recommends approval of award of bids for a three-year fire systems inspection contract to Fire Pros Inc., at the low bid price for a three year total of $31,980 as shown in Exhibit D.

Description:  The superintendent recommends approval of the three-year lease agreement between Howell Public Schools and Lansing Community College for use of the space at Parker Middle School commencing August 1, 2017, and ending on July 31, 2020, as shown in Exhibit E.

11.C.1) Approval of Curriculum Adoptions - EXHIBIT F
Description:  The superintendent recommends approval of curriculum course adoptions and resource adoptions which were recommended for board approval by the District Curriculum Council at their May 4 and May 24, 2017, meetings and reviewed by the i3 board subcommittee at their May 11 and June 1, 2017, meetings as shown in Exhibit F.

11.C.2) Approval of the NWEA Assessments Renewal - EXHIBIT G
Description:  The superintendent recommends approval of the renewal of NWEA assessments for the 2017-18 school year for grades K-11 at a cost of $11.50 per student for a total cost not to exceed $72,500 as shown in Exhibit G.

Description:  The superintendent recommends approval of the Flippen Group contract for Capturing Kids' Hearts training, August 24-25, 2017, in the amount of $26,000, funded by the District's Title IIa grant as shown in Exhibit H.

11.C.4) Approval of Award of Bids for Science Lab Equipment - EXHIBIT I
Description:  The superintendent recommends approval of award of bids for science lab equipment for the high school freshman campus and 10-12 science departments to Sargent Welch/Wards Science at the low bid price of $53,000.61, funded by the technology bond funds as shown in Exhibit I.
