Description:  Approval of: Position Eliminated:  Hutching Elementary General Education Aide Jennifer McLarty, effective January 8, 2016. New Assignment: Challenger Elementary Instructional Assistant Christine Lichiello, effective January 15, 2016. New Hires Non-Certified: Challenger Elementary Instructional Assistant Ryan Grant, effective January 4, 2016.  Retirements: HHS Vocal Music Instructor Rodney Bushey, effective June 30, 2016, with 44 years of service. Resignation: HHS Food Service Assistant Xochitl VanderPlan, effective January 29, 2016.

9.B. Payment of Vouchers
Description:  The superintendent recommends approval of expenditures from the following funds:
1.  payment from the general fund of $6,848,919.00 and from payroll of $3,494,192.21;
2.  payment from the student activity fund of $75,994.31;
3.  payment from the HHS student activity fund of $218,933.79;
4.  payment from the cafeteria fund of $159,993.99.

9.C. Discipline Committee Recommendation (Case #124)
Description:  Approval of the Student Discipline Committee's recommendation to permanently expel the student identified in Student Case #124 from the Howell Public Schools District for violating Board Policy 5530 and the District's Code of Conduct.
9.D. Discipline Committee Recommendation (Case #125)
Description:  Approval of the Student Discipline Committee's recommendation to long-term suspend for the remainder of the 2015-2016 school year, with the requirement of a petition for reinstatement prior to return, the student identified  in Student Case #125 from the Howell Public Schools District for violating the District's Code of Conduct regarding persistent misbehavior.

Description:  The superintendent recommends approval of the first read of revised board policies: 1411, 3211, 4211, 3139, 4139, 8321, and 8330, which were reviewed by the Policy Committee on January 14, 2016, as shown in Exhibit A.

10.A.2) Approval of the Agreement with the Howell Area Chamber of Commerce - EXHIBIT B
Description:  The superintendent recommends approval of the Agreement with the Howell Area Chamber of Commerce for use of HPS facilities for the purpose of hosting the Livingston County Home and Garden Show and the Michigan Challenge Balloonfest as shown in Exhibit B.
