6.A. Congratulations to the Glen Crest Middle School chorus and symphonic band for their success at the recent Music in the Parks festival at Six Flags Great America.
The chorus and 7th/8th grade band traveled to Zion Benton Township High School to compete against music groups from schools across the Midwest. Glen Crest band and chorus both received "Superior" ratings. The chorus placed second, and the band finished first place for class 1A. Congratulations to all the student-musicians. Thank you to Glen Crest chorus teacher Sam Koppitz and band teachers Katie Berry and Lev Garbar. |

6.B. Congratulations to the Glen Crest track and field athletes who earned first place in the Illinois Prairie Athletic Conference championship meet. The Spartans who earned conference titles are: eighth grader Tommy Garakat in the high jump (5-foot-8, a meet record); seventh grader Wyatt Yates in the 400-meter run (57.28) and 800-meter run (2:17.49); seventh grader Alyssa Zepeda in high jump (4-foot-8), and the seventh-grade boys 800-meter relay team of Eric Lilly, Algemon Skinner, Trey Fransen, and Enzo Gurrieri. |

6.C. The district recently celebrated our super “Sub Squad” – people who substitute taught more than 25 days during the 2025-26 school year. We appreciate these guest teachers who keep our schools running!
