3.A. Congratulations to the Glen Crest seventh-grade boys track and field team for winning the Illinois Prairie Athletic Conference championship on Saturday, May 17. Six boys earned individual conference championships in the meet. Wyatt Yates set the conference record in the 800-meter run, finishing in 2 minutes, 21 seconds. Yates also won the 1600-meter run in 5 minutes, 6 seconds, beating the next runner by 9 seconds. The boys 800-meter relay team of Wyatt Yates, Mason Lappe, Cooper Fort and Max Hemesath also earned first place.

3.B. A new collection of artwork is displayed in the boardroom, courtesy of Park View elementary school. Our awesome artistic students are: Emily Dawtthasung, Calvin Durek, Molly Laughter, Bennett Magis, Rhett Mahrle, Evolet Maldonado Figueroa, Isabelle Otte, Jayden Reyes Cruz, Elfaith Sadiki, Andrew Sandschoot, Harshith Valluri and Nylah Vance. Thank you to art teacher Dawn Weathers for her assistance in providing this opportunity to showcase District 89 students.
