7.A. The December Student Spotlight features Westfield Elementary School. The Westfield spotlight will focus on a school-wide project to have students teach each other the expectations of the "Westfield Way". Students at all grade levels were part of creating short videos that highlighted how students can be responsible, be respectful, and be safe during the school day. The students wrote scripts and will act out examples of students showing good school behavior. 

7.B. Congratulations to the Glen Crest math team for starting its season with strong performances in the first two meets. At the first meet, the sixth-grade and eighth-grade teams both finished second for their grade levels. Individually, Ian Dimler earned first and Kavya Uppal was second in the eighth-grade competition. In the seventh-grade competition, Will Pope and Michael McIntyre tied for third overall.
At their next meet, Glen Crest finished third. Dimler took first in the individual competition, Uppal was fourth, and Sasrika Ghosh finished fifth. All of the following mathletes contributed to the Spartans doing so well in the team competitions: Emma Briggs, Sasha Bystrukhina, Ian Dimler, Sasrika Ghosh, Dea Gjata, Roopa Kuncham, Adriana Lehr, Anusree Maddala, Yashica Makkar, Michael McIntyre, Agastya Pabba, Will Pope, Rumaisa Shaikh, Aarush Singh, Kavya Uppal, and Asrith Valluri.
