4.A. Thank you to Glenbard South High School Principal Hanrahan and her staff for sharing their building with us during the summer months. Board meetings as well as other events were housed at the high school while our builidngs were under construction, and we appreciate how welcome we were made to feel.
|

4.B. District 89 wishes to thank Karen Evans of the District 41 PTC Community Outreach Committee for her work on the successful fundraiser , "Supplies 4 Success". This effort was initiated to raise sufficient funds to purchase school supplies for all low income children in D41 and D89, which amounted to 500-600 students. District 89 Special Education Director Peggy King served as the district's liason,the Glen Ellyn Chamber of Commerce was an enthusiastic sponsor, PEP managed the donations, and supplies were provided through the charitable arm of Staples. What a great community outreach for the children of our districts!
