The vendor selected for the dish machines is Ace Mart Restaurant Supply. The total cost is $184,152 and will be paid with Child Nutrition funds. |

Description:
The district closed RFP 2324-13 for the purchase of Office Furniture at Brewer Middle School on May 9, 2024. We received 4 responses.
The vendor selected for the office furniture at Brewer Middle School is FTW Safety and Industrial Supplies. The total cost is $99,475. |
F.6. Consider Approval of Vendor to Replace Carpet and Flooring at West Elementary
Description:
The district closed RFP 2324-14 to replace the flooring and carpet at West Elementary on May 9, 2024. We received 9 responses.
The vendor selected to replace the flooring and carpet at West Elementary is GFC Contracting (Gomez Floor Covering, Inc.). The total cost is $408,000. |
F.7. Consider Approval of Vendor to Purchase a Pass Thru Cooler at Brewer High School
Description:
The district requested quotes for the purchase of a pass thru cooler for Brewer High School. The quote from AceMart provides the best pricing and value for the District.
The total cost is $27,460 and will be paid from Child Nutrition funds. |
F.8. Consider Approval of Vendor to Purchase Smartboards for West Elementary
Description:
The district requested quotes to purchase 22 Smartboards for the new classrooms and offices at West Elementary. Delcom Group is able to provide the best pricing and value for the District.
The total cost is $86,838 and will be paid with bond funds. |
F.9. Consider Approval of Vendor for the Renewal of Cisco Smart Net
Description:
WSISD currently uses Cisco Smart Net and requested quotes for a 1-year renewal. Cisco Smart Net includes technical support, hardware replacement, software updates, online resources, etc., and Cisco experts are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
SHI is the recommended vendor for this renewal, at a cost of $32,487. |
F.10. Consider Approval to Submit Low-Attendance Day Waivers to TEA
Description:
The Texas Education Agency (TEA) allows districts to apply for a low-attendance day waiver, to exclude certain days from Average Daily Attendance (ADA) and Foundation School Program (FSP) funding calculations. Waiver applications can be submitted for days when attendance was at least 10% lower than the overall district attendance rate for the prior school year due to inclement weather, health, and/or safety issues.

Description:
At the March 25, 2024, Regular Board Metting, the Board approved delegating the authority for approval of a future change order for the Liberty Elementary Additions and Renovations Bond Project, for an amount, not to exceed $1,068,871.
