Description:
The monthly expenditures is presented for the Board of Trustee review in the Revenue and Expenditures Report and the Check Register in the Financial Update Section.

F.3. Consider Approval of Amended Budgets
Description:
Administration recommends amending the General Fund budget for the following:
Purchase 3 suburbans & 1 Tahoe Fn 34 $240,860 TXVSN Courses for Virtual Fn 11 $12,600 Resurface tennis courts Fn 51 $29,500 Radios for Police Dept (applying for Grant) Fn 52 $38,651 This amendment increases expenses by $321,611. |
F.4. Consider Approval of Vendor for Districtwide Tree Service
Description:
The district requested quotes for tree services throughout the district. This includes pruning, dead tree removal, stump grinding, etc.
The quote from Bob’s Tree Service provides the best value for the district at a cost of $37,400. This cost is included in the current budget. |
F.5. Consider Approval of Vendor for Website Design and Support
Description:
The district requested quotes for the design and support of a new WSISD website. Finalsite will provide the best value for the district. The new website will have an updated design with improved accessibility and a more intuitive user experience.
The term of the contract is 5 years, and the total cost is $70,000. This includes the initial cost of $10,000 for the website set-up and the annual cost of $12,000 per year. The initial set-up cost and 1st year of service are included in the current budget.

F.6. Consider Approval of Vendor to Purchase Radios for the WSISD Police Department
Description:
The district requested quotes to purchase new radios for the police department. These radios are needed to outfit the additional police officers the district is required to hire. Motorola Solutions will provide the best value to the district.
The total cost is $38,650.70 and is included in the current amended budget. The district is applying for the SAFE Grant and this expense will be reimbursed by this grant, if approved.

F.7. Consider Approval of Vendor to Repair and Resurface the Tennis Courts at Brewer Middle School
Description:
The district requested quotes for repairs and resurfacing three tennis courts at Brewer Middle School. CourTex will provide the best value to the district.
The total cost is $29,500 and is included in the current amended budget. |
F.8. Consider Approval of Vendor to Purchase New Vehicles for Transportation
Description:
The district requested quotes to purchase 3 Suburban’s and 1 Tahoe to be used for student and staff travel. Caldwell Country Chevrolet is able to provide all four vehicles for the best value to the district.
The three Suburban’s are $61,040 each and the Tahoe is $57,740, for a total cost of $240,860. This expense is included in the current amended budget. |
F.9. Consider Approval of Interlocal Agreement with the City of Fort Worth for the Blue Haze Afterschool Program
Description:
Since 2001, the City of Fort Worth and WSISD have entered into an interlocal agreement to provide an afterschool program at Blue Haze Elementary. The City of Fort Worth is providing a grant for $57,500 to support this program. The program is an academic, sports/fitness, and community service program. WSISD has a Memorandum of Understanding with the YMCA to provide services for this grant.

G.1. Consider Approval of Tax Resale Bid 9001 Rowland Dr
Description:
The district has received an Offer to Purchase Property Struck-Off for Taxes for the property located at 9001 Rowland Dr. This property, known as the Judd Street Cemetery, Memorial Park has been held in trust by the City of White Settlement since 1997, when it was struck off to the City at a tax foreclosure sale.
The City of White Settlement has made an offer of $1.00 to purchase the property located at 9001 Rowland Dr. and intends to maintain the Cemetery and Memorial Park on the property. |
G.2. Consider Approval of Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) for the Brewer Middle School Additions and Renovations Bond Project, Package 3
Description:
Bids were received for the Brewer Middle School Additions and Renovations Bond Project, Package 3. This is for the completion of the additions and renovations at Brewer Middle School. This is the fourth, and final package for the Brewer Middle School Additions and Renovations Bond Project.
The GMP for Package 3 is $41,398,516 and the total of the 4 packages is $44,769,399. Package 1: $ 849,565 Package 2A: $ 337,986 Package 2B: $ 2,183,332 Package 3: $ 41,398,516 |
