E.1. Consider Approval of Vendor for Internet Content Filtering
Description:
The district utilizes content filtering applications to monitor web activities, stop potential cyber threats, and help ensure student safety and a positive learning environment. We currently use ContentKeeper for this service and they continue to be the best option for the district.
The total cost for a 3-year renewal is $116,268 and $42,603.95 will be paid from the current year’s budget. |
E.2. Consider Approval of Vendor for the Purchase of Exterior Store-Front Doors

E.3. Ratify Vendor for the Demolition and Removal of Old Playground Equipment
Description:
At the April 17, 2023, Regular Board Meeting, the board approved the vendor for the purchase and installation of new playground equipment at Liberty, North, West, and Blue Haze Elementary, and the new Fine Arts Academy site. We were still receiving quotes for the demolition of the existing playground equipment, and the vendor was to be ratified at a future board meeting, with a maximum cost of $62,377.30.
TXMC, LLC was able to provide these services at a cost of $49,050.00, $13,327.30 lower than the maximum allowable cost. |

Description:
The district currently uses School Status for parent communication services and have been satisfied with their services. This service allows voice and text messages and urgent alerts to be sent to parents. The contract is for one-year, 7/15/2023-7/14/2024 and the cost is $36,750.00.
