5.2. Approve Monthly Expenditures

At the board finance meeting, expenditures for the month of September were reviewed. Administration recommends approval of the September 2026 disbursements totaling $2,523,927.53. This includes Board Payables of $282,846.50, Hand Payments of $680,697.45, Electronic Payments of $1,554,268.52 and Student Activity Payments of $6,115.06.

7.1. 2026-27 Preliminary Levy:

Description:
At the finance meeting, we reviewed the 2026-27 Preliminary Levy. The levy will slightly decrease from the 2025-26 certified levy: $7,328,599.26 for 2026-27 versus $7,329,149.97 for 2025-26. It is recommended that the 2026-27 Preliminary Levy be approved at the maximum amount. The final levy will be approved in December.

7.2. Social Studies Europe Trip:
Description:
Students will travel to Europe in the summer of 2028. This trip is not associated with the school and will be paid by students. Attached is information on the trip. Approval is recommended.
