An update on COVID related topics including County number, staffing etc.

2.2. Canvassing Election Results:
Description:
Election results cannot be canvassed until November 12th or 13th due to the U.S. Court of Appeals Eighth Circuit decision.
A Special Meeting will be held on Thursday, November 12th at 8 a.m. in order to canvass the election results. The meeting will be held in the Board Room and virtually for those who cannot attend in person. |

3.1. Financial Review:
Description:
A review of the 2019-20 preliminary financial results.
The audit will be presented at the November 23rd Board meeting. |

3.2. Bond Award Resolution:
Description:
RESOLUTION RELATING TO OF $10,910,000 GENERAL OBLIGATION SCHOOL BUILDING REFUNDING BONDS, SERIES 2020A; RATIFYING THE AWARD OF SALE, PRESCRIBING THE FORM AND DETAILS AND PROVIDING FOR THE PAYMENT THEREOF
The pricing of the bonds was completed on October 28th and will achieve $825,538.05 of total interest savings from refunding of the 2012A bonds. Attached is the refunding summary. This will be a levy savings in the debt redemption fund beginning with the 2021 Pay 2022 Levy. The $825,538.05 interest savings will be spread out over the remaining 4 years of the the bonds.

3.3. Resolution Combining Polling Places:
Description:
Each year school districts are required to designate polling locations by resolution for the upcoming year. The attached resolution comines all polling places within the District to the Belle Plaine Government Center.
