Presentation on Taxation and Budget Requirements and Restrictions for The City and School District - The Trustees and Council Members will hear a presentation by City and School Staff Comparing and Contrasting the Challenges Facing Both Bodies and How Legal Limitations and Requirements Vary Between the Bodies. (President Flinn)

VII. Discussion and Possible Action on Joint Strategic Planning by the School District and City - After a Presentation by City and District Staff, The City Council and Board of Trustees will Consider the Need to Establish Common Goals and Objectives for Growth within The City and District.  The Board of Trustees and City Council may recess The Joint Meeting and Move into a Workshop Session for the Purpose of Exploring Alternatives and Ideas for Collaboration, Including Exercises useful in Identifying the Needs of the City and School District.  Upon Completion of the Workshop Session, The City Council and The Board of Trustees will Reconvene The Joint Meeting and May Discuss and Take Joint or Unilateral Action on Establishing A Joint Strategic Plan.
