7.B.1. Consider approving the Fiscal Year 2021, 301 Performance Pay Plan, as presented. 
  
RELEVANT INFORMATION: On May 5th, 2020, PUSD Governing Board voted to revise the FY20 301 Performance Pay Plan.  The revision removed the student achievement portion of FY20's 301 Performance Pay Plan.  The intent was to have this change only be in effect for the 2019/20 school year.  Due to PUSD starting the year with distance learning and the uncertainty of when in-person learning will commence, student achievement benchmarks will be done virtually or postponed to a later date in the year.  It is proposed to extend FY20's revised 301 Performance Pay Plan one more year.  

A copy of the FY21 proposed 301 Performance Pay Plan is attached.

RELEVANT INFORMATION: The purpose of this Amendment is to amend the agreement as described in the Memorandum of Understanding dated June 29, 2019, between Prescott Unified School District Arizona Serve.

As of June 1, 2020, the Host Organization will agree to contribute a total of $10,000 to support the cost of two AmeriCorps VISTA placements. The placements are the Attendance Success held by Monique LaFlamme (06/08/2020 - 06/07/2021) and Farm to School to be held by Sara Reveile (08/07/2020 - 08/16/2021).

7.B.4. Consider approving an Intergovernmental Agreement between The City of Prescott and Prescott Unified School District for Services of School Resource Officers, as presented.
  
RELEVANT INFORMATION:
A.R.S.§ 15-154 authorizes the District to place peace officers in its schools in accordance with an approved School Safety Program.

The District is required by A.R.S. § 15-341 and A.R.S. § 13-2911 to report to local law enforcement any suspected crimes against persons or property and any incidents that could potentially threaten the safety or security of pupils, teachers or administrators.

The District has identified funding to cover seventy-five percent (75%) of the total cost for the City to provide one School Resource Officer to provide school resource officer services ("SRO Services") for Prescott High School,("PHS").

The City and the District desire to enter into an agreement whereby the City will identify a sworn, certified police officer to provide SRO Services at PHS during the 2020-2021 school year (the "School Year").

The District is authorized to enter into the Agreement pursuant to A.R.S. §§15-342 and 11-952. The City is authorized to enter into this Agreement pursuant to A.R.S. § 11-952.

7.C.5. Future Agenda Items
  
Description:  The public is invited to request future agenda items. The request must be in writing on the form provided and turned into the Board Secretary at the beginning of the meeting or prior to the agenda item. The form must provide a very specific agenda item to be considered by the board. The public member may state the agenda item to be considered,  however, no description or conversation may take place at this time. The Board may not respond to questions or comments from the public, but may ask the superintendent to respond when appropriate. The Governing Board President or district office designee will contact the person making the request as of the status of the requested future agenda item.
