7 ACTION ITEM #1: The Committee recommends approval of the EMT reimbursement requests of $1,000 to Sanborn Township, $1,000 to Alpena Township, and $2,000 to Green township totaling $4,000, for four members who successfully completed the EMT course and obtained EMT licensure with the State of Michigan, consistent with the agreement reached at the August 18, 2025, Courts and Public Safety Committee meeting, as presented.

7 2) Ambulance Purchase Authorization Request

7 ACTION ITEM #2: The Committee recommends approval for the Alpena City Fire Chief to purchase a 2027 Ford E450 Road Rescue Ultra Medic Type III ambulance from Emergency Vehicles Plus, including the Stryker Power Load system, Power-Pro II cot, and radio installation, at a total cost not to exceed $405,467.10, and to authorize the 10% deposit of $40,546.71 with the order, with the remaining balance payable upon acceptance at delivery, and to proceed with the final work order and drawing review for anticipated delivery in June 2027, as presented.
