IV. Red Granite (Possible Action)
Description:
Estimated Time to Present: 30 Minutes
With the recent change in district plans related to restructuring, district administration and Red Granite Governance members are seeking options to develop the Red Granite Charter School space. In addition to the Hewitt-Texas campus, the Executive Director of Monk Botanical Gardens expressed interest in allowing the charter school to lease land on the MBG site. The vision of Red Granite Charter School is consistent with the mission of Monk Botanical Gardens. Administration, Monk Gardens staff and Red Granite governance members will describe the two options to house RGCS and are seeking Board direction on the preferred site.
