V. West High School 95% Design and Budget Presentation (Action Requested)
Description:
Estimated Time to Present: 30 minutes
As referendum projects for each facility reach the end of the design phase (95% completion), the Board will see the designs and budget, and be asked to consider approval of these plans to be issued for bidding. Here 95% complete designs are being shared for West High School and the Board is being asked to consider approval for use in soliciting competitive bids.

VI. Resolution Authorizing a Loan of $19,810,000 From the Board of Commissioners of Public Lands for Capital Improvements Authorized by the 2022 Referendum (Action Requested)
Description:
Estimated Time to Present: 10 minutes
Administration recommends the attached resolution authorizing a loan of $19,810,000 from the Board of Commissioners of Public Lands (BCPL) for capital improvements associated with the 2022 referendum. The BCPL is an agency of the State of Wisconsin, administering the State Trust Fund Loan Program. In the last five years, over $1.8 million of financial support for WSD libraries came through the Common School Fund via the Board of Commissioners of Public Lands.

IX. AGR Spring Summary Presentation
Description:

Dr. Katie Colwell, Julie Schell, Dr. Jennifer Rauscher, and Jon Euting will share a brief presentation on the Achievement Gap Reduction Short Cycle Report.

X. Sell Small Parcel of Property Near John Marshall (Action Requested)
Description:
Estimated Time to Present: 5 minutes
Administration recommends selling a 12' wide strip of property adjacent to John Marshall Elementary, separating two neighbors. The land has no redeeming value to the Disrict and the purchase price will cover all associated costs plus a small amount.

XI. Various Wage and Salary Increases (Action Requested)

In alignment to the District's budget reconciliation process, the Administration is recommending approval of a 5% wage increase for all employee groups other than teachers. The teacher bargaining process will commence following the July 4th holiday based on conversations with WEA representatives. |
