1. Call To Order.

2. Roll Call.

3. Pledge of Allegiance.
|
4. Public Participation As To Pending Litigation Involving District Officials - To permit fair and orderly public expression, the following rules shall apply:
|
4.1. Public participation shall be permitted as indicated on the order of business (set forth hereinabove) at the discretion of the presiding officer.
|
4.2. Anyone having a legitimate interest in the actions of the Board may participate during the public participation portion of the meeting.
|
4.3. Attendees must register their intention to participate in the public portion of the meeting upon their arrival at the meeting.
|
4.4. Participants must be recognized by the presiding officer.
|
4.5. Each statement made by a participant shall be limited to five (5) minutes duration.
|
4.6. No participant may speak more than once on the same topic unless all others who wish to speak on the topic have been heard.
|
4.7. Participants shall direct all comments to the Board and not to staff or other participants.
|
4.8. All statements shall be directed to the presiding officer, no person may address or question Board members individually.
|
4.9. The presiding officer may:
|
4.9.1. Interrupt, warn or terminate a participant's statement when the statement is too lengthy, personally directed, abusive, obscene or irrelevant;
|
4.9.2. Request any individual to leave the meeting when that person does not observe reasonable decorum;
|
4.9.3. Request the assistance of law enforcement officers in the removal of a disorderly person when that person's conduct interferes with the orderly progress of the meeting;
|
4.9.4. Call for a recess or an adjournment to another time when the lack of public decorum so interferes with the orderly conduct of the meeting as to warrant such action; and
|
4.9.5. Waive these rules with the approval of the Board when necessary for the protection of privacy or the administration of the Board's business.

5. Closed Session - The School Board shall convene in closed session pursuant to Wis. Stat. §§ 19.85(1)(c), (f) and (g) to address a matter involving public officials and/or public employees over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility, to consider financial, medical, social or personal histories or disciplinary data of persons or the investigation of charges against specific persons which, if discussed in public, would be likely to have a substantial adverse effect upon the reputation of any persons referred to in such histories or data or involved in such investigations as well as to confer with the District's legal counsel who will be rendering advice concerning strategy as to litigation the District may or is likely to become involved concerning same.

6. The School Board may reconvene in open session to address and/or take action as to those matters discussed in closed session, as appropriate.

7. Adjourn (should the School Board reconvene in open session).
|
8. This meeting is a meeting of the Board in public (except as otherwise posted) for the purpose of conducting the School District's business and is not to be considered a public community meeting. There is a time for public participation during the meeting as indicated in the Agenda.
