Description:
It is recommended that the Board of Education approve the contract for the 2020-21 school year in the amount of $17,162.00 with the AVID Center 9797 Aero Drive, Suite 100 San Diego, CA 92123. District AVID funds will be used to account for the cost of this purchase.

Description:
It is recommended that the Board of Education authorize Bills for Payment dated March 31, 2020 in the amount of $3,500,567.63.

Description:
It is recommended that the Board of Education approve the following certified appointments for 2020-21 school year of Amanda Crecelius (*salary revision from 3/24/20 board agenda to reflect MA + 15 versus MA).

Description:
It is recommended that the Board of Education approve the Interior Door Replacement at Thurgood Marshall Learning Center to: Swanson Construction,Bettendorf, IA. in the amount of $11,505.42.

Description:
It is recommended that the Board of Education approve the Rock Island High School Stadium Renovations including Alternate #1, Visitor’s Restrooms and Alternate #3, the replacement of exterior doors at Eugene Field and Longfellow Elementary, to: Bush Construction, Davenport, IA. in the amount of $768,300.00.

VII.A. Teachers Completing a Partial Year of Service...Action
Description:
It is recommended that the Board of Education approve the following list of eleven (11) first year probationary teachers that shall not be re-employed for the 2020-21 school year because they were hired after the first day of school. Therefore, their employment will terminate at the end of the 2019-20 school year.

VII.B. Teachers Completing One Year of Probationary Service...Action
Description:
It is recommended that the Board of Education approve the following first year probationary teacher that shall not be re-employed for the 2020-21 school year. Therefore, his/her employment will terminate at the end of the 2019-20 school year.

VII.C. Teachers Completing Three Years Probationary Service...Action
Description:
It is recommended that the Board of Education approve the following list of two (2) third year probationary teachers that shall not be re-employed for the 2020-21 school year. Therefore, their employment will terminate at the end of the 2019-20 school year.

VII.D. Non-Certified Staff to be Released due to Non-Renewal...Action
Description:
It is recommended that the Board of Education approve the following list of 33 non-certified employees that shall not be re-employed for the 2020-21 school year. Therefore, their employment will terminate at the end of the 2019-20 school year.

VII.E. Certified Employee Tenure...Information
Description:
The Administration recommends that the list of 22 personnel who have completed their probationary period in Rock Island-Milan School District #41 at the close of the 2019-20 school year be placed on Tenure beginning with the 2020-21 school year.

VII.F. Certified Employee Contracts After Three Years of Service...Information
Description:
The Administration recommends that the list of 22 personnel who have completed three years of probationary status, be issued a contract for the 2020-21 school year. The school year 2020-21 will be their fourth year of status towards Tenure.

VII.G. Certified Employee Contracts After Two Years of Service...Information
Description:
The Administration recommends that the list of 25 personnel who have completed two years of probationary status, be issued a contract for the 2020-21 school year. The school year 2020-21 will be their third year of status towards Tenure.

VII.H. Certified Employee Contracts After One Year of Service...Information
Description:
The Administration recommends that the list of 47 personnel who have completed one year of probationary status, be issued a contract for the 2020-21 school year. The school year 2020-21 will be their second year of status towards Tenure.

VIII. Executive Session
Description:
It is recommended that the Board of Education move to executive session to discuss the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the public body,including hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee of the public body or against legal counsel for the public body to determine itsvalidity. 5 ILCS 120/2(c) (1). Collective negotiating matters between
the public body and its employees or their representatives, or deliberations concerning salary schedules for one or more classes of employees. 5 ILCS 120/2(c) (2). |
