Closed Session

1. Enter into closed session for the purpose of discussing preliminary consideration of allegations or charges against an individual subject to its authority, during which all or a portion of the meeting will be closed to the public pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, section 13D.05, subdivision 2(b).  Portions of the meeting on this topic also may be closed based upon attorney-client privilege pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, section 13D.05, subdivision 3(b), to allow the School Board to meet with its attorney in a confidential setting to obtain advice regarding potential imminent legal action related to the School District's allegations and defenses in an employment matter.

The School Board also may take action with respect to employment of an employee in an open session during the special meeting.
