September 14, 2020 at 7:00 PM - Board of Education Regular Workshop Meeting

Description:  The President of the Board of Education has determined, due to the COVID 19 disaster, that an in-person meeting of the Board on the above date is not prudent, feasible or practical for members of the Board and the public.  The Superintendent and the Board President will be present at the Central Services Office as provided for in Section 7(e)(5) of the OMA, but Board member participation will be conducted electronically, the meeting will be viewable by the public by live stream through the District’s website and public participation will be provided through email and a portal viewable by the Board and the public watching the live stream of the meeting.  Details for public viewing and participation will be available on the District’s website and summarized in the agenda below.

Description:  Individuals who wish to make public comment virtually during the live streamed Board of Education meeting must complete and submit a form no later than 1:00 PM on September 14, 2020.  Once the form is submitted the speaker will be sent a confirmation email and link to join the meeting at the appropriate time.  Speakers will be admitted to the meeting via Zoom by the meeting host.  Speakers will have three (3) minutes for public comment and adhere to Board Policy 2:230- Public Participation at School Board Meetings and Petitions to the Board when making comments.  Click here for the form. 

Individuals who wish to submit comment to be read by the Board President may do so by submitting comments to D41PublicComments@d41.org by 5:00 p.m. the day of the meeting. Comments received after 5 p.m. will not be read during the meeting but will be forwarded to the Board and attached to the approved minutes.
