Description:
Tab Beall, Tax Attorney, will be here to give us the status on delinquent taxes and also introduce the tax attorney (Scott Severt) who will be taking care of Elkhart ISD since David Hudson has retired.

IX. Discussion/Action: Consider canceling the School Board Trustee Election in May.

Description:
Two candidates signed up for two School Board positions. Thus, there is no need for an election. Krispen Rucker signed up for Position #4 and Joe Estes signed up for Position #5.
Recommendation: Cancel school board election scheduled for May 6, 2017. |

X. Discussion/Action: Consider appointment of audit firm for the 2016-17 school year audit.

Description:
The board needs to approve an audit firm for the 2016-17 school year. Smith, Lambright & Associates, P.C. has conducted our audit for several years and has done a good job. Enclosed you will find a copy of their letter requesting to do the 2016-17 audit.
Recommendation: Appoint Smith, Lambright & Associates, P.C. as Elkhart I.S.D.'s audit firm for the 2016-17 school year. |

XI. Discussion/Action: Consider amending the 2016-17 Elkhart I.S.D. Budget.
