III. Discussion/Action: Adopt Resolution stating the Elkhart I.S.D. Board has reviewed the Tax Roll as certified by the Houston County Appraisal District.

IV. Discussion/Action: Approve the Elkhart I.S.D. Accelerated Instruction Expedited State Waiver Application for the 2013-14 and 2014-15 school years.

This waiver allows the district to continue offering Accelerated Instruction and support during the first six-weeks of school for reading and/or mathematics.

Description:
The proposed budget is based on a total tax rate of $1.36. The tax rate of $1.17 is for Maintenance and Operations and $.19 for Interest and Sinking making the total tax rate of $1.36.
Recommendation: Set the 2013 Elkhart I.S.D. tax rate as follows: Maintenance and Operations $1.17 Interest and Sinking - $0.19 TOTAL TAX RATE OF $1.36 |
