Donna Hobson will present the Investment Report ending August 30, 2011. Donna will give you the investment copies Monday night. Recommendation: Approve the Investment Report.

VII. Discussion: Hear School FIRST (Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas) Rating and the School FAST (Financial Allocation Study For Texas) Report.

VIII. Discussion: Hear Highly Qualified Teacher Report for 2011-12.

Description:
Kay Chapman will present this year's report on highly qualified teachers.

IX. Discussion/Action: Elect board member to the District Site-Based Advisory Committee.
Description:
Michael Hampton is currently on this committee. Board members can only be on the committee for three (3) years. We need to elect a new member. Recommendation: Elect a new board member to the District Site-Based Committee.

X. Discussion/Action: Appoint members to the School Health Advisory Committee.

Dr. Taylor has presented a list of members to be appointed to the SHAC.
Recommendation: Approve members to the SHAC as presented. |

XI. Discussion/Action: Discuss selling two (2) double-wide trailers.

Description:
We are ready to sell the two (2) life skills trailers. The high school life skills trailer is a 1993 year model. The elementary life skills trailer is a 1994. OL Grimsley has noted that they will need some remodeling (replace some siding, replace roof, etc). Recommendation: Take bids to sell trailers.
